Rafa Nadal is the new face of Armani
The world number one signed for the Italian firm.

Giorgio Armani has today released a statement announcing the signing of Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal as the image of Emporio Armani and Armani Jeans Underwear for Spring Summer 2011.

The first campaign featuring Nadal was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott , and will appear in February.

With this signing, Armani expressed his preference for Spanish men when communicating their brand values. In 2007 he was a bullfighter Cayetano Rivera chosen to represent the line Giorgio Armani Hand Made-to-measure. The murderer got on the runway twice and even wore a costume designed by Armani himself on the run Goya de Ronda the following year.
