Seems that Rafa, during his time off from tennis due to his left shoulder tendonitis, has been busy, first with going to Disneyland! & on a radio show called La Partida de las 12.

Here is the direct link to the audio:

But here is a brief excerpt:

Rafa Nadal, the 12 Party: "I have a super-privileged life"

An interview outside tournaments, an in depth interview with Rafa Nadal was the one we were able to hear on Monday in the Midnight Match in a very special program from Paris, where the Spanish player was going to participate in the Master 1000, but a little shoulder tendinitis forced him to rest until next Thursday or Friday in order to be in the Masters Cup in London.

These were some of the many things that Rafa Nadal told Juan Antonio Alcalá, Joseba Larrañaga, Tomás Guasch, Angel Garcia and Joan Solsona in an interview where the world tennis number 1 also went before the microphone of Cadena COPE:

"Paris is a special city, I'll stay with the construction of Paris and its history .... I was risking too much playing in Paris, although it was not an easy decision ... I'm not obsessed with the Masters Cup, the surface and the opponents don't help achieve the objective of winning, it's the most important tournament that I have yet to win, although I've never been between the eyes [?]. My big dream is to begin next year well ... I work as much as I like. The ambition is to remain at a high level ... Everything has gone better than expected, I feel strong enough to continue. Last year there were difficult moments, and they give you doubts like everyone else ... Everyone in elite sports takes his body to the limit and it's impossible not to have pains and aches, they're welcome and I'm fine with them. Elite sport isn't good for health ... "

"... I saw the Atletico Madrid match. Real Madrid looks very good, butit has to be calm and keep its feet on the ground, the season has just begun, but the side is probably the best team ever, the problem is on the side with Barcelona ... "

"... It's a dream come true, everything I've got, I've done a lot more than I dreamed. The reality makes you be humble. To have your feet on the ground is not a philosophy, it's a reality. When I go on court I think I can win or lose. Every year I have my doubts that I will return to win. My uncle is a very important person and has helped me a lot, like all my family. My uncle is a more mental coach... "

"... Young people today want things faster at any price, but if you work hard, then later you'll be rewarded later on [I think] ...I have an extremely privileged life, I can not have the problems of a 24-year-old guy, but I do know what they are because I have friends that age that I've had since we were five years old. They have been forging their careers for the past 3 or 4 years when they started college, and I started at age 8 ... I view all the problems of the crisis with the same concern, you always have someone close ...My father has a company and you see how bad it is when you have to fire someone... "

His story with the "special remove" [????] in a U.S. hotel because he could not see a career of Fernando Alonso and his friend Carlos Moya, his fishing technique, his culinary arts, his bad relationship with the dark, what Nadalek means, how he'd like give a kiss to Lady Gaga, who was the Magic Uncle, the school apples and Rafa, actually losing his school bookbag, and he showed up to claim the bag, his patented dances, DJ Rafa ... and many more amusing curiosities of Rafa we got to know on a more than special night, because Rafa Nadal is up there with Kun Aguero, Diego Forlan, Quique Sanchez Flores, Iker Casillas, Xavi Hernandez, Cesc Fabregas, Vincent Del Bosque, Luis Aragones, Alberto Contador, Pau Gasol and Jorge Lorenzo, who also enjoyed being on The Midnight Match.
