Rafa Nadal at the Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund quarter finals Champions League

World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has described Cristiano Ronaldo as an example of "excellence, professionalism and passion for what he does". Nadal has also said he is sure the Real Madrid striker will soon recover from his recent knee injury.

While appearing at the 'What really matters' Congress in Mallorca, Nadal pointed out in a press conference that he, who has suffered with serious knee problems in the past, is not in a position to offer the Real Madrid player advice.

"I am not qualified to lecture anyone on anything, and I don't think Cristiano Ronaldo needs any help from me. I don't think the Real Madrid striker's injury will prove to be a problem", the ATP number one said.

Nadal, a well-known Real Madrid supporter, is "hopeful" that Ronaldo's injury is nothing serious.
