Rafael Nadal says US Shouldn’t Use Unknown Surface for Davis Cup

Rafael Nadal thinks United States should not schedule matches over the Indoor Hard premiere on which Spanish tennis Federation has disputed with ITF over choice of playing surface for the upcoming Davis Cup ahead.

Rafael who is currently playing in Barcelona has stated he will completely support Spain over the ongoing dispute about the surface for the Davis Cup, and he said the Indoor hard Premiere selected by United States is an unknown surface for him and his teammates.

World’s best and Number one player said if the surface is not in the list of official ones then it must be cut from venue list or some stiff fines should be applied, ultimately for tournaments like these $50,000 is peanuts.

The claim done by Spanish federation is this surface is not included in the list of 91 manufacturers who have been approved by the International tennis Federation. The quarterfinal matches have been scheduled on July 8th to 10th.
