Real Madrid Name Rafael Nadal, Vicente Del Bosque & Placido Domingo As Honorary Club Members
Real Madrid have named former coach Vicente del Bosque, tennis star Rafael Nadal and Spanis tenor Placido Domingo as honorary club members.

The trio were bestowed this honour by club president Florentino Perez, who acknowledged the "professional careers of these illustrious Madridistas".
"Real Madrid Board of Directors had a meeting Presided by Florentino Perez yesterday, in which they decided to make Vicente del Bosque, Placido Domingo and Rafael Nadal Honorary Club Members, the highest distinction bestowed by the Club," a statement on the club's official website reads. "Real Madrid CF wishes to publicly acknowledge the professional careers of these illustrious Madridistas, who feel for, and deeply love, this entity.
"Vicente del Bosque is recognised for his impeccable work as the coach of World Cup champions Spain; Placido Domingo is being acknowledged for being a musical phenomenon that has become an unquestionable figure in the history of opera; and Rafael Nadal is honoured as the World's No.1 tennis player.
"These wonderful achievements make all three worthy recipients of the Club's recognition."
Previous people to be bestowed this achievement include FIFA president Sepp Blatter and honorary Real Madrid president Alfredo di Stefano.
