Nalby hearts Rafa & says Rafa does not sleep

Nalbandian sets to world No. 1: "Rafa is tremendous"
"Whatever he does, is pure energy. He's tremendous, just tremendous. The energy that he has to play a Grand Slam final is the same energy that he puts into playing playstation, into eating a plate of pasta, into going for a walk, into talking about cars..or football. He's tremendous. For me, he's totally a super gifted person...."
"Rafa doesn't sleep. I swear to you that Rafa doesn't sleep. He's up till 2 am either on the playstation or doing physio work . The other day, he's up at 9am, plays 18 holes of golf, then comes back to train, then plays soccer in the evening. He's tremendous. I can follow [his rhythm] maybe one or 2 days, then I'm laid up in bed , but this guy keeps going, every day, the same."
"At one time, people said 'with Rafa, it's doping, surely...' It was frequently debated. And people would ask me, and I'd say, 'you think that because you don't know him. You spend some time with the guy and you realize that he's like that 24 hours a day.' "
Is Nalby using hyberole's? Or does Rafa really doesn't sleep? Rafa says he sleeps 8 to 9 hours a day, and goes to bed after midnight to 1 am. I loved the bit in Rafa's Spanish radio interview from before the Madrid Masters where he explained that he didn't go to the home soccer game between Manacor and Real Madrid because he could get another hour of sleep if he stayed home and watched with his dad on tv since on the following day he had to practice early, fly to Madrid, practice there, then do some media/promo work, ending up with the long midnight radio interview. Who has that kind of discipline at 23?!?! Just like in his last NYC blog, where he says he didnt sleep since he won the title for 3 hours then he did all that press the next day then a flight home & he doesnt sleep on the plane either gets off & does more press.. I miss one day's sleep & I truly cannot function ask any of my Twitter followers ;) Well, that's why he's Rafael Nadal, consummate professional.
