Nadal plans all focus on the States

The U.S. conquest of the Grand Slam, U.S. Open, and the formidable U.S. trade market now fixed immediate plans Rafael Nadal and his working group. The sports market and U.S. economic Nadal stands as a New World to explore and exploit. In sporting terms, the title of New York is the only Grand Slam that Nadal lacks.

His idea is to focus the rest of the year at the U.S. Open. Return to training in two weeks, after refining the tendons of the knees with the new shock treatment of Dr. Mikel Sánchez. And insurance is returning to the tracks for the 1000 Masters in Toronto, from 9 August. His initial plan is to continue in Cincinnati, another Masters in 1000 and fast hard court, a week later. But should there be no trouble at Toronto, there is little doubt that Nadal would play in Cincinnati. This tournament, as often, the stress doubles players who reach the final rounds in Canada. Nobody has won two Masters consecutively. Nadal has won in Canada (2005, 08), but not in Cincinnati.

In the commercial, his team has designed a plan to launch in the U.S.. Nadal, who already has great figure contract with Nike and Babolat, will more often look out the big media (Sports Illustrated, The New York Times, ESPN, TV shows and London ...), which have been asking for hearings Rafa and special sessions.

Rafa's treatment was reported on the ESPN website today:

Spanish papers have reported that the procedure appears to be platelet-rich therapy (PRT), in which the person's own blood is taken and spun in a machine and the concentrated blood is then injected back into the injured area. Nadal has not discussed it directly but said that it was a "painful treatment" that is "applied directly to the tendon." This is an important detail because that is a part of the body where PRT is permissible under anti-doping rules.

James Blake underwent the same therapy for his injured knee earlier this year, although WTA player Tamira Paszek was briefly investigated for undergoing a variation of the procedure on her back last year.
